Re: [APML] New Posts from April Dark Period

Thanks to everyone for their comments.
I am using the GEG off-axis guider and its reducing lens for theses
particular images. I have been using GEG with the reducing lens for almost
all of my images.
These images are cropped quite a bit because of the image size. I have been
using the reducing lens (F/7.5) to keep the exposure time reasonable (60 to
90 minutes). I would be more than happy to send anyone off line a raw .jpg
to check out the image to backround size relationship with my setup.
This past week I did move toward a larger image size, and shot my first
image with this setup at F/11 (GEG without the reducing lens). M51 for 120
minutes. It was a good first image. Once I get a mate, I will post it.

My current hyper times for Kodak LE-400 Film with forming gas is 5 hours at
3 psi at 50 degrees C.
