[APML] kinda' off topic, but
hello:
i seem to be having a problem with my flatbed (hp scanjet 6300c)
scanner. maybe someone has seen this before. it scans with some
horizontal bars. the flatbed glass is crystal clean and i have cleaned
the hg bulb. there are what looks like be some reflector type mirrors
that are a little dirty. would this make a difference? i'll take them
out to clean them only if someone thinks (i do) they will make a
difference. (it'll be a little work, but will do if neccessary.) i
didn't take a real good look at the way the flatbed works (real busy
right now), so i thought i'd ask for advice first. i've attached a link
to a blank scan so you can see what i am talking about. there is a
slight h-bar near the left side and a large h-bar down the right.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
