[APML] First Hypered TP Results
Hi folks,
these pix are a bit older, but I only got around to rescanning them on my
new scanner today. It was a poor night, a LOT of light pollution, and this
roll of film had already been exposed to a few days of warm temperatures as
well as humidity. Exposure data for the two shots are as follows:
Canon EOS 50E with 50mm lens, 15 min. at f/4, 22 December 2000. Kodak
Technical Pan hypered, developed 16’ in HC-110 Dil. B @ 20ºC. I believe I
used a #29 red filter (otherwise I couldn't have got these exposure times).
You can find the shots here (the inset on the first one shows what Jupiter
looked like on the raw scan before contrast and brightness adjusting - isn't
that beautiful?!?):

I also scanned my *first* astrophoto (at least I believe it is the first),
taken in summer camp with a Minolta Dynax 500si, 35-70mm zoom lens, exposure
data not recorded. This must have been 1998 (or was it '97, I don't know),
anyway it's a conjunction of the Moon and Saturn, I think in August. If
anyone can check on that, see if it was '97 or '98, but I'm pretty sure it
was '98. That also makes it improbable that it was my first astrophoto, but
it was the first in B&W. This is Kodak T-Max 100. Enjoy:
