At that time I did not know a good film form a bad one, but it turned
out pretty well anyway. I used what I had in the fridge. :)

Well, I've always used layers instead of curves. I just feel more
comfortable with it, and I used layers a lot when doing layout in an
astronomy magazine some years ago. Curves is supposed to be better?
Better control maybe?

I'll try some more playing around with various techniques and
adjustments. I've followed the discussions about this for a while but
have not tried any of it in practice before now. I'll search the
archives for some anti-vignetting techniques.

Yes, that's a meteor. :)
