I haven't tried many films on the moon but I have had reasonable results with E200: see
These shots were converted to grayscale, however, so you won't see any color associated with them. But the fine grain is there.

i saw some lunar pics taken with (i believe) unhypered tech-pan.  problem is, i can't remember where i saw them at.  anyway, does anyone know of a website that has some nice unhypered tech-pan (on 35mm?) lunar shots?

i know most like to go with deep sky (i do too), but i find a tack sharp, no grain lunar shot very impressive and very far and few between.

also, if anyone has a film (low grain, good lunar color) to suggest for shooting the moon, i'd love to hear it.
