Re: [APML] Minolta Dimage IV
Richard,
I really like the Macintosh version of Minolta's scan software. I have
switched to VueScan recently only because the current version of
Minolta's
software hangs on saving 3200 dpi TIFFs from 6x6 scans on my Scan Multi
Pro
with Mac OS X 10.3.8. The Minolta interface allows me to quickly do a
good
amount of color/level "processing" in the scanning workflow using a very
good user interface. It may not be "better", but the interface allows
you to
have better control over your results.
I had initially started using the Minolta software over VueScan since
the
then current version could not give me a full 6x6 scan at the max medium
format resolution on my Scan Multi II. It would only scan a central
strip
of the film then.
(Both scanners mentioned are film scanners.)
I have come full circle
