[APML] Blue Hue

OM1, E200, St80 Achromatic.
1.    I remember there being a "trick" with filters to get rid of the Blue
hue around brighter stars on Refractors but I don't remember how.  Was it to
photograph without a filter and then photograph with a blue filter and stack
them?  Was it to photograph without a filter and stack on top of that one
photo of each, red, green, blue where the blue exposure time was far less
then the others?  I have the Orion ST80 achromatic and photographed Mizar,
M42, and Sirius, all the bright stars had a blue hue around them.
