Beautiful shot Paul!  The reds are really nice.  I'd go to Australia for a shot like that anyday.

Dear all,
Please don't blame me going to Australia to take a
shot of M42...There is hardly any chance to do that in
Hong Kong.

Photographic details are as follows:
First Deep background:
Telescope: Takahashi Sky90 w/Reducer f4.5, 405mm
Mount: Mizar New AR w/Single Axis drive
Guidescope: Takahashi FS60C, w/Vixen GA4 as
illuminating device
Camera: Vixen VX2
Film: E200 +1
Exposure: manually guided 45min

Second shot at the core is taken in Hong Kong by my
friend using C8, who kindly let me use his image to
overlay on my Australian one.
