[APML] Inconceivable! Another Comet Machholz Image - 2/8/2005

I hope you all aren't getting tired of Comet Machholz yet. Yes, I
had a fantastic two weeks photographing this comet. Unfortunately,
the clearest night, 2/10/2005, I didn't make it out because I was
too tired to drive the 80 miles to my dark site (i.e. I didn't want
to crash and burn on the drive back). I took this one under very
good skies (i.e. great transparency) with Provia 400F, pushed
1-stop. It is a 15 minute exposure at F/2.8, wide open. On the
original, I was able to trace the tail out to 7 degrees. Please,
let me know if there are any color casts. I know this is personal
preference; however, I would like to get some input as to rather or
not I'm making the backgrounds too dark in my images.

Enjoy,
