Beautiful image....

Eight minutes, wow, who can guide that long.  (G)  Let's see, to reproduce 
that shot with a CCD camera it would take L, R, G, and B sub exposures of 
around 30 minutes for the color and 60 minutes for the luminance, so only 
about 2.5 hours, of course that's not counting calibration images.  Boy has 
this sport come a long way?  Schmidt cameras are still awesome.

One question, have you ever tried using the PS minimum filter to pull the 
intensity of the stars down a notch?  Using a minimum and fading it about 
50% really brings the nebula forward without losing the star colors and the 
feel of the image.  Try it and see what you think.
