I feel it's days are numbered.  In fact, I'd be willing to bet in
the next five years anybody doing medium/large format work will have
to develop it themselves.  It's just not going to be feasible for
the professional businesses (e.g. A&I) to stay afloat.  If I were
you, I'd save the money on a nice CCD camera or DSLR and mosaic the
frames to produce the same field of view as medium format.
