The reason I thought it might be a scratch is because it's so parallel with
the frame (looks that way, anywho).

I bought my F2 off of EBay a couple years ago. Guess I can always see if I
can find a better one there and trade mine off. I don't think I'd want to
sell this one to a fellow astronomer if it 'is' something in the camera
scratching the film. I'll know for sure after the next session with a fresh
roll of film...gonna try for some galaxies, I guess (since it'll probably be
late by the time I get realigned), and see how 400F does for me.
