[APML] Future of medium format films

Hi,

 

 it seems the end of 35 mm format films for astrofoto will come soon (Kodak finished with Tech Pan and I think others will follow), but what do you think about the future of 120 format films. Im asking because Im not sure if its worth to buy equipment for medium format astrophoto in this moment (field flattener, medium format camera, scanner). 

 I think middle format films may stay longer because of the prices of big format CCD chips.
