Whatever it was it's random, and not repeating. Satellite maybe. Who
knows what can travel across a given area during a 2-4 hour exposure. I
did notice something weird on one of the last 2 rolls of film though.
It was a repeating mark (looked like a dark watermark) of some sort,
about 1/4" high and 1/8" wide that showed up on almost every frame. It
left no artifact during scanning or processing so as far as I'm
concerned it was a one time deal.

You can always trade it in on astromart and buy used. That's where I've
gotten pretty much all of my equipment. If you have certain standards
you want to keep to, just make sure they are agreed upon by both
parties. Things like appearance, performance, and returns and exchanges
can, and should be mentioned up front. And always check the ratings of
anyone you work with.
