[APML] OT: HTML source code validator (checks web pages for errors)
Hello all,
Since a lot of us use personal webpages to present our astrophotography shots, I thought I might pass on this handy tool. Pretty straightforward to use...just enter in the URL of the website you want to check (will also validate all the pages on the site), and provides tips to correct errors. From reading the website, validation is important to ensure that your webpage is rendered correctly regardless of browser or platform. This also ensures that it continues to work as HTML is updated in the future. It also helps find bugs in your source code.
Note: This found a lot of things wrong with my website that I didn't know existed. Guess that's why editing is a good thing :P
Oh yeah, almost forgot: http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/
Hope this helps,
Jason
