Re: [APML] New shots: M35 (SHQ200) and M37 (Provia 400F)

John, Stuart, Bradley and Chris,

Thanks for your comments, I almost always find them useful. Even if
they indicate a personal preference of some sort, it tells me what
folks like to see.

I am currently researching PixenSightLE to see what advantages it might
offer as far as anti-vignetting, noise reduction, etc...
It seems that removing vignetting is one of the main problems I need to
overcome. So far I've been too indifferent to do anything about it. 8-)

Anyway, that's my project for the day seeing as how it's too wet to
take my chainsaw and axe out back. Hey, I heard that remark about me
using them on my images. Sadly, sometimes it's true.

I plan to re-shoot M35 next month to see if it truly does contain
mostly blue stars. I've not been able to ascertain whether that is the
case or if I did something to make them that way. I did try to keep a
light hand on the processing controls because it's become obvious to me
that sometimes I don't. I do know that the SHQ200 does have a tendency
to shift towards yellow sometimes.

Bradley, is the ST-402ME the new low cost entry-level camera from SBIG?
I'd like to hear how it does.

Alan
