Wonderful shot Wade!  I'm surprised 100F @ 30min. produced that much tail.

Here's another Comet Machholz image.  As an experiment, I decided to
try my luck with Provia 100F pushed 1-stop.  I believe it did a
wonderful job; unfortunately, by the time I got around to shooting
this particular shot, the transparency had decreased so the tail's a
little shorter than the 01/31/02 image.  I hope I'm getting better
at bringing out the comet and nebulas without over processing;
however, I know I still have a long way to go.  Please, let me know
if the image is over processed.  I'll probably continue to tweak it
slightly as I continue to learn PixInsight LE.  The image was
produced using both Photoshop and PixInsight.  It's unbelievable how
well PixInsight removes vignetting.  If you click on the image, you
can see the vignetting in the original scan.
