It's amazing how good NPZ is in the blue portion of the spectrum.  Unfortunately, it is blind in the red portion of the spectrum so I can only recommend it for galaxies and comets.  In fact, here in the next few days, I'll post an image of the Orion Nebula taken with NPZ.

 

The orion region image is the true field of view with the Pentax 67 taken with a 300 mm lens (i.e. it is not a mosaic).  If all goes well, I plan to do a mosaic of orion this upcoming winter with the 300 mm lens.
