RE: [APML] Slide to print

If all you want to do is to make a print for the scrapbook, get a friend
with a scanner to scan the slide and then print it to the size you want.
I've got slide (film) copying equipment that hasn't been used for more than
20 years. Then it would take time to drive to the camera shop (after finding
one you can trust) then 30 minutes to an hour, minimum, for develop the roll
with one image and print. My scanner would let me get a print in 5-10
minutes. The scanner would also be more versatile/useful in most cases.

Has anybody copied their Slide film to Print film? I see there are
adapters that are basically Tubes with the 35mm camera on one end and a
slide on the other so that you can take a picture of your slide on print
film. However, a quick look shows they are $100 and up.

1. If you have done so, how where the results?
2. Have any of you made an adapter at home?
