Ouch. Sorry to hear this. About the only thing you can expect a lab to do
is reimburse you for the cost of the film. And obviously do not pay for the
development. Also, sometimes, if they are good business people, they will
also give you a certificate/discount towards any future film processing.
Other than that, you can't do much. A lab limits their liability to pretty
much just what I stated above.
Hope you are having better weather in IL. We are having yet another snow
storm today!!! One word describes our weather back here....CRAP!

I just had a whole roll of Fuji Provia 400 destoryed
at a local film lab.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them.
If so, what kind of action can one take against the
film lab, if any?
