I've a NexStar 11 GPS and I can see a wedge in my future, but not at the prices they are:-)

My plans for fine adjustment are to put a couple of adjusable wedges under a couple of tripod legs.

OK Chris, I got the idea from Michael Covington. It's a bit of a dog to align but simple to build, the main thing is making it strong enough. Michael C made his for an 8" lx200... ours is a 12".  I first built it from single pieces 17mm 7ply then took it outside to pier and it all looked OK until I went to get the scope and realised it was hopelessly underbuilt. :>(   I then sandwiched another layer of 17mm all around it which did the trick. It is VERY strong now. Of course next time I would sandwich/glue the ply together before I started cutting pieces. ;>)
I've seen some way better wooden wedges on the net but they're all way beyond my skills and equipment too.
