You may want to try making a wedge out of Jarrah, very hard and strong
(as you well know) and deals quite well with the outside weather.
Possibly hit it with a few coats of double boiled linseed oil for some
additional protection. And then give it a wipe with a rag every two
weeks just to add a bit more.
It is a bugger on tools though, the silicon in the Jarrah dulls saw
blades and router bits pretty quick.
It would look really nice too! :^)
