 nice start, but its a pitty that you did not choose correct film for this (Kodak Max 400 has very low H-alfa sensitivity) and Photoshop does not help much. Next time try to use Kodak Elitechrome or Ektachrome 200 or Fuji Provia 400, results will be much better.

Last week I built a wooden wedge, got polar aligned, learnt how to use guiding software, stayed up late and this is the result, M42. Film just came alive for me.

But where to from here... how does anyone even start to do processing in photo shop etc?
