Looks like a really good start.
For some hints on processing with photoshop have a look at Jerry
Lodrigus's site http://www.astropix.com and once you get hooked on that
you might want to buy his book on CD. It is well worth the coin.
I regret not being interested in astronomy or astrophotography for the
year that I was based out of Adelaide, an hour and a half drive would
have put me under some pretty dark skies. Where I lived was a washout
for night skies when the Crows played since I was only about 2km from
Footy Park in West Lakes.
