Hi Tony,

I would go ahead and shoot this as normal - a year out of date for film 
stored in a fridge is not a big deal.  Unless you are unlucky the response 
should look quite normal.  To see if there has been any degradation, 
compare the results you get with previous exposures on fresh stock.  The 
place to look is extended faint nebulous regions.  In degraded film the 
colours will look less vibrant and more "muddy" - this is particularly 
noticeable in Ha regions.  Don't pay attention to the stars because, being 
point sources of broadband light, they will record on anything.  I think 
there is a good chance your results will show no degradation at all.
