Carlos, I did that upgrade on my EQ-5 mount. I used a white lithium 
grease but I would think that you would change the grease when you have 
the mount disassembled. There is a yahoo group dedicated to the 
Celestron AS mount, I think that group would be your best source of 
information. I converted my EQ-5 mount to GOTO using the the Mel Bartels 
microstepper control system and you can read about it on the Scopedrive 
yahoo group, just do a search for my user name there, which is 
dunmunro1. I haven't had a chance to test it much because I've been 
using a new EQ-6 Skyscan mount recently.
