Re: [APML] Epson 4870 astro-scans



I have been browsing through the yahoo Epson3200 user group and came 
across several posts where, by trial and error, it was determined that 
the point of best focus for transparencies for Epson scanners is often 
slightly different from the stock film holders. See:

for an example.   Apparently adding shims to the stock film holders can 
make quite a difference.

I am really happy to see that the 4870 performs well. Thanks for sharing 
your images.
