Re: [APML] Medium Format TP...worth messing with?
Hi Mike, I have used (and probably will use again next summer) TP 2415
in 6X6 format. I have a Pentacon six and I have recently bought a Kiev
88CM body, though I haven't used it yet for astrophotography. The littl
experience I have using medium format TP 2415, suggest me that flatness
in such a bif format is a problem. When analysing the photograms I have
found that stars near the borders are distorted and in an asymetrical
way, this suggesting that the film is not completely flat. Nonetheless I
like 6X6 format because stars are very small (in the center), so the
"feeling" when seeing a copy of a 6X6 negative is very different as
compared to a 35 mm format. I will keep on shoting with 6X6 format even
thogh is more cumbersome to use that 35 mm.
