RE: [APML] Eta Carinae

Hi Chris,

When I planned this picture, the role of Centuria 800 is clear --
to consume my stock of Centuria 800. I still used Provia 400F in
more than half of the exposures because I was more familiar with
Provia. In my mind, there was no other difference between these
two films. Both have high speed and the right color sensitivity
for this target.

After the images were processed, the role of Centuria changed.
It is sharper than Provia. Provia 400F also has halos around
stars, like E200 and E100S. I just did a comparison. The stacked
image of Centuria has finer stars than Centuria plus Provia,
although more noisy. If later I feel the low S/N is tolerable,
I will replace the current image with the one with only Centuria.

Cheers,

Wei-Hao
