Yes, I love the colors of the 400F. Unfortunability it seems to be less H-alpha sensitive than E200. You can't always win ;-).

Thanks. I agree with you. The problem is that the image looks a bit flat with less saturation. I'll try to fix that.

La Silla's Airdrome is a little airport builded by the ESO about 20km away from La Silla Observatory in the 60's. Right now it is not opperative, becouse there are dayly-flights from Santiago (the capital) to La Serena (about 120km. away from the airdrome). The Airdrome is located in a the particular road that leads to Las Campanas and La Silla observatories, but it is before the guarding post, so there is free access. Anyway, is a good idea ask for permission, just in any case you'll need some aid from the guards (or need water... the airdrome is in the middle of the desert).

About the dot in the mountain, yes, it is La Silla Observatory. If you look at older star trails you can see the lights from Las Campanas (to the north east).
