Re: [APML] Webcamin' nightscape - film image
Hi Chris -
I don't either.
What I find interesting though is the amount of traffic lately on the APML.
Granted the server was down for a while but even for the past 5+ months, the
posting as slowed to a dribble compared to what this list use to be like.
At first I thought maybe it was the poor winter weather and people weren't
getting out but I also read the SBIG list...... its not quiet over there. I
think it might be a sign of the times? Less and less people are shooting
film these days. It also seems that a majority of newbie imagers are buying
a CCD camera instead of getting into film. I see numerous "I'm new to CCD
imaging" posts in various lists.
I don't want to start another "should we accept CCD discussions" thread on
the APML, but I'm afraid this list will dry up and blow away within a year
if we don't. Just my $.02 thoughts...
Chris
