I have an old Celestron Super C8 (1982) attached to my Astro-Physics
900GTO mount using a Losmandy DC8 dovetail.  In addition, I have
another Losmandy DC8 dovetail with the DR108 ring set.  I will use
this setup to mount a Pentax 67 camera and lenses for piggyback
work.  Here's the problem.  I've ran out of screw holes on the
telescope to attach my eFinder.  I suppose I could use the
finderscope holes, but they are smaller spaced than my camera mount.
Does anyone have any recommendations on solving my dilemma?  I'm
willing to get something custom made which attaches to the dovetail;
however, it must not obscure the field of view of the Pentax camera
or if placed behind must extend beyond the obscuring capabilities of
the camera.  I'll be using lenses as wide as 45 mm.  Could something
attached perpendicular to the dovetail work?  I envision it to
extend beyond the field of view of the Pentax camera and, at both
ends there would be attachments (i.e., camera mounts): one holding
the eFinder and the other one could possibly be used to attach a 35
mm camera and lens.  Does anyone know who could do such custom work?
It would have to work flawlessly with the DC8 and be very sturdy so
there would be no flexure.  On the other hand, perhaps someone could
develop a camera mount that would already fit the screws of the
finderscope.  All I would have to do us unmount the finderscope and
its attachment, and mount the eFinder to the custom mount.  Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
