Alan, thanks for chasing this down! I didn't specify and was assured I was
okay with the optocoupler and now it is clear I would NOT be. Sigh. Lucky
we have this forum for getting help (albeit, there is a losmandy forum but
that is where I was assured the optocoupler would work!).
