Alan,
    I don't have a G-11, GM8 or an ST7, but I think that this might have
come up before. As I recall, the only SBIG models that are electrically
isolated through the use of relays are the ST4 and STV. I am sure that I
will be corrected if wrong, but my understanding is that for Losmandy
mounts, all other cameras require the relay box. There is some info on
SBIG's site regarding this, darned if I can find it though......

Hey all,

I guess I'll be using the ST-7EI to autoguide the 85 on the GM-8. How
do I determine whether or not I will need the SBIG relay box? Anything
else I need to know?
