RE: [APML] March results

Hello Jerry,
Thanks for the nice words. I am really going to move mostly to Halpha with
the TV101. I am going to experiment with a focal reducer on the TV101 to
get me to f4.?. It increases my FOV a little. Seeing was OK for the
Aristarchus. Much better than the night before when I took the film images.
So, the digital images may have a little advantage due to the seeing
conditions. Although I did not shoot with eyepiece projection on
slide/film, only prime focus with a 2x barlow.

BTW, do you know how many scanners offer "analog gain" as an adjustable
option? Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

Wow, what a great set of pictures!

Love those tiny stars in the Rosette h-alpha shot! Great nebular resolution
and separation also. Wonderful.

Looks like you has some pretty good seeing on that Aristarchus shot.

Jerry
