[APML] Vixen VC200L Illumination

A few people have been firing me questions about the Vixen VC200L as
there isn't a lot of good hard info out there. In a nutshell it is kind of a
classic cassegrain with an integrated field flattener, with a fixed primary
and an external rack and pinion focuser. (8" f9) One question I couldn't get
an answer to was how well it lit up a 35mm frame. My G-11 is still
backordered for it, but I was able to at least attach a camera last night,
focus to infinity and shoot the twilight sky. I have a full-frame scan which
shows how well it lights up the film plane. All I have done is adjusted the
levels, I had offset the edge of the frame a bit so that the scan would get
right into the corners.
There is some mild vignetting, but not too bad for a commercial CAT. It
should be very easy to AV images. The scan is here:
