Hello Chris,
Thanks.  Well, when I pulled the slides out I was really quite surprised at
high bright they are compared to the original scan.  The Nikon scan shows
pretty much what is on the slide.  I have seen darker<g>

Those rescans are great.  Much more detail in the shadow areas.
Are the slides dark to begin with?
