[APML] Scanning planets or deepsky.Is it the same?

Dear All,

the guy at the local photoshop is quite nice and he will follow any suggestion I
give him in order to scan correctly my negatives, so different from the birthday
cake parties he usually gets :)
The thing is that I have always been satisfied with his scanning settings, but
recently I made him scan a couple of pictures of Jupiter and Saturn and I wasn't
satisfied at all. Basically, after printed and separately scanned the negative,
I can hold better the details in the unprocessed negative printed rather than in
the scanned image (which I wanted to enhance).
So my question is: is there any difference in the scanner settings between
deepsky and planet works?
