Indeed I am enjoying it very much also. I haven't used ImagesPlus but it
seems an excellent piece of software including very good implementations of
deconvolution and many other important algorithms ---Mike's results for
your image speak for themselves.
We enjoy making our own software for image processing, trying to devise new
algorithms, and implementing software solutions adapted to our specific
needings. It's something like building one's own telescopes. It's much more
rewarding when one controls more aspects of the whole process. Our work is
largely at a experimental stage; we are exploring many algorithms and ideas
in many different ways, and we need to learn many, many things before we
could say something of some importance in this field.
