As I look over the Spec's its only an 18 Amp hour battery inside. You can buy a 35 to 40 Amp hour Wheel Chair battery for around 40 to 50 dollars and an Optima 75 Amp HR well be in the 60 to 80 dollar range. Last the 124 Amp hour Marine battery will cost you around 125 dollars. This 400 Watt thing may be great for emergency power for a car or truck but for overnight or several nights observing I think I would go with something more substantial. For me I power my AP 900 goto mount. ST4 and Laptop with the one 75 Amp hour battery. This will give me an entire weekend. When I get around to ordering my ST2000 I expect to just go ahead and add that piece of equipment. I also carry a 35 Amp hour wheel Chair battery as a backup spare.
