You have gotten great results with vanCittert! I had the same reaction when
I first used it:

That image didn't look like anything much until I applied vanCittert. The
Altai scarp, for instance, was almost invisible.
For reducing noise, I just used the Gaussian blur in Photoshop. You might
be able to get better results with SGBNR.
