RE: [APML] Dedicated film/slide scanners

Don, I recently purchased a ScanWit 2720S, 36-bit 2700 dpi
Film/SlideScanner off of a vendor on eBay.  Purchase price was $219, but
he had it drop shipped from BenQ (formerly Acer) and they showed a price
of only $179.  Not sure how he gets that deal because my legwork
couldn't come up price that low.

I see he has some more for sale FWIW

Epson has a new scanner out that might be just the ticket.

Epson Perfection 3200 Photo Color Scanner
3200X6400 dpi
48 bit
USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394

There were several posts about this scanner a week or so ago, so check
