I am jumping in the middle of this without reading the earlier
email thread. However, here is something which might explain your
problem.
If you are working with a large image (3000 x 2000 for example) the
image processing program must convert that image to your monitor
display size (1024 x 768 for example). PS and PW Pro does this
downsizing for the display differently. PW pro takes an approach
which results in a more grainy image compared to PS. Depending on
the amount of scaling, PW can show a much poorer image than
PS.
If you think the above case is the problem, try resizing
the image in PS to 1024 x 768, save and then compare the
result in PW pro. There should be no difference in the
display.
