Re: [APML] OT: Canon vs Epson clogging-CIS

I have both of my Epson 1160's set up with a CIS and have had no
problems with them. They will pay for themselves in no time.

While everyone's discussing the Epson clogging issue I was wondering if
anyone has used or is now using one of the continuous inking systems
available for some of the Epson printers. The system appears a bit
expensive initially but could be a cost saving device over time with several
different ink options available to purchase. Anyone have any experience
with this?

I use a 1270 (one of the models supported by CIS) as my primary printer for
astrophotos using various Epson papers and have never experienced the
clogging issues to a point where I couldn't clear the system. Over all I
think the Epson printers are superior judging from my experience.
