[APML] M42- clipping question

Hi Group,

I tweeked my M42 a bit more- added a litte more green,
feathered in a old (and still overexposed) region of
the trapezium), adjusted curves more, and applied a
stronger unsharp mask.

I like this one better, but now there is (purposely)
mild clipping on the dark end, as a result of using
curves to darken the background without affecting
image detail.

Comments appreciated.  It seems to me that sometimes a
little clipping as a final step might be OK, if it
darkens the background without affecting the target,
but what do you think?
