Hi Andreas,

when I shot that picture I was on that part of the Alps called Marittime as
they are close to the Tirrenian Sea, and to Genoa. It is a very good
location as it is quite easily reachable by car and you have a hotel there
with all the facilities and good mountain food as well :-) I can't say the
sky there is very dark, but because of the altitude, the contrast of the
deep sky objects is however very high, so I'm fully satisfied with it. The
only problem is that this place is easily reachable only on Summer time
because the road is very steep and with no asphalt.
