Hi Frank,
I'm using a classic LX200 and the old shipping bolt trick to lock the mirror 
so I can't give you any input on the GPS model.
I'm pleased with the LX200/TV85 combination so far but I don't have a lot of 
cockpit time.  Guiding the LX200 and imaging with the TV85 gives you a big 
advantage due to relative focal lengths.  I haven't tried going the other 
way yet but I guess with a 3X barlow you'd be in the ballpark...
