Re: [APML] RGB -> CMYK

Matt

Thats great. It is important to look at and make corrections on the match
print so they can understand what is important in the image. The best way to
do this though is to be at the press run to check your images. The pressman
can make changes while working up the color. Unfortunatly publications don't
let you do that. When i'm running a brochure for a client I can be there to
make sure they understand what is important because it is the only thing
running. When your image is a part of a larger body of work that is being
printed there are trade offs that have to be made to get the highest quality
possible. For instance if one page has a full color image that is very
saturated and dark this could influence images on another page by ink
starvation or ghosting. The pressman would then have to adjust the offending
image to save the others to a point that your image will not be as nice as
the match print.
