I doubt it. The hypering process is a change in the emulsion to get rid of
oxygen and keep the film dry. This is done by using hydrogen gas. The
heating during hypering is primarily to make the displacement of oxygen by
hydrogen go faster. Just heating film will not hyper it.
Using a microwave oven to heat anything usually generates a lot of uneven
heating, with no temperature control. You also would have to remove 35mm
film from its metal canister. I shudder to think what would come out of the
microwave oven.
