Yes to the first one.  The guidescope is a Vixen achromat and has a 
focuser locking screw just like the R200SS.  Unfortunately, the eyepiece 
holder has only one screw and I am afraid that is a potential problem area.  
I've been meaning to get it drilled and tapped for a second screw.
